Background

Having sold my business and looking for a change, I have set off on a new path - developing websites and web applications.

My interests include being an volunteer bush firefighter, creative problem solving & constant learning

My understanding includes of WordPress includes building custom themes in WordPress using all of the filters/action and hooks available.

This also includes designing/deploying new WordPress sites with online shops attached, social media connected and simplified admin panels for clients.

Over the last 18 months I have also build up extensive knowledge of the Drupal eco system and have built numerous enterprise and small business level content platforms including online store, enterprise level systems and Memberhsip portals.

My knowledge of PHP & JavaScript includes API integration and the manipulation of JSON & REST API's. This includes vanillaJS, React, jQuery and JS libraries.

Custom sites built to date include Registration and Security processes, custom plugins and modules. This includes numerous API integrations

SQL Knowledge

I have a strong understand of SQL relational databases. This includes cloud databases creation, querying and updates on a number of live sites.

My experience includes validation, activation and permission management of database users. I am also able to deliver database content to a a wide variety of responsive front end frameworks.

Over the last 2 years I have managed more than 20 sites , including 40 domains.

This includes DNS zone management, email routing, SSL management & service workers, Cloud Server integration & Linux server maintenance and upgrade.p>
